"The dangerous aspect involves the discovery of a large
stash of drugs by two of his companions who accompany him on his first trip
to the island. After removing two packets from the stash, they bury the rest
in a marked spot on the island and attempt to `oft' the two packets in Belize
City. In the attempt, one is gunned down; the other seriously wounded, and later
dies in hospital."

"In Sea Lotto, Watler experiments with style and
form. His style is unique, capturing the reader from page one. To write a novel
containing three books shows a writer's confidence in his ability to assimilate
all the necessary components and structure them in a form that works.
John Alexander Watler has done just that, brilliantly, and in so doing shows
his coming of age as a true novelist."
